As hard as it is to believe, the Redskins have a worse record than at this same point last year. But following another error-filled effort in Arizona, maybe it’s not so hard to believe after all.

This week the boys discuss another loss and a drop to 1-5 on the year. While everyone else in the division has improved, Washington flounders at the bottom.

But fear not, the gang takes an entire segment to identify what needs doing this offseason to fix this team. It is a long list.

And can the Redskins find joy this weekend?

The Redskins lost again, bringing their record to 1-5 in what has become another bad year. But all anyone wants to talk about is how some players were laughing and cutting up following the loss.

This week the boys break down the defeat to Seattle. The Redskins appear to be a team without an identity – what is it they do well that they can build on? The gang also talks about the appropriateness of some players following another loss.

And of course, there is another game this Sunday.

Enjoy!

We saw a return of the zone read and a resurgent Robert Griffin III until a fluke injury saw the insertion of Kirk Cousins for what is probably the better part of the season.

What followed was a 41-point offensive clinic by the offense and an impressive effort by the defense.

This week the boys break down the victory against Jacksonville. They look at the ramifications of another major injury to Griffin, and talk about what to expect from Cousins.

And does the coach really prefer Cousins over Griffin?

Enjoy!

New Skinscast Episode – The stumbling block

There was a lot to not like about week 1 of the 2014 Washington Redskins season. Turnovers, special teams mistakes, and let downs in the secondary added up to defeat in what should have a very winnable game.

But not everything was a negative, and there were some positives to take away from the game.

This week the boys break down the loss to Houston. They take names of some players not living up to expectations – but manage to celebrate the things done well. There is another game this weekend and the boys hope the team can get well at the home opener.

Enjoy!

It is once again that time to kick off a new season of Redskins football. And once again, it is time to guess what level of success the team will have.

But after a tepid preseason by Robert Griffin III and the offense; there is a lot to be concerned about. Was it just a case of growing pains with the starting offense unable to score a touchdown all preseason? Or, is there a real issue?

This week the boys discuss the quarterback and the offense. We can’t forget what appears to be an improved defense, or forget the fact the team has yet to play a single game so any pronouncements are premature.

Then there are the season predictions. Who will be the optimist this year?

Enjoy!
