It was a game for the ages with a storybook ending.

This week the boys break down the awesome victory over the Cowboys. It was a throwback to days of yore. From the smashmouth running of Alfred Morris, to season best defensive performances from DeAngelo Hall and London Fletcher. An offense that managed another 28 points, and an opportunistic defense that created three takeaways. And then there was the magnificent gameplan on both sides of the ball.

It doesn’t get much sweeter than that.

But there’s another game just ahead, and this team is better than the one Washington just beat. The gang looks at a hot Seattle Seahawks team and talk about what the Redskins will need to do to stay alive in the postseason.

This week the boys talk about possibly the biggest regular season game in the history of the franchise. Heady times, but still football. The offense is clicking, even with a banged-up RGIII.
This week the boys discuss the big victory by the backup in Cleveland. How is it the offense can be just as effective with no RGIII? If there was a trophy for coordinators surely Kyle Shanahan would receive it. And what of the defense? Where are they getting the magic halftime adjustments.
This week Skinscast returns to discuss the wonder that is unfolding with this team. From incredible talent at quarterback, running back, receiver and outstanding scheming and play-calling from the coaches; there is plenty of praise to go around. At the same time, early concerns for the defense have become reality, so there is still room to improve.

But something is different about this squad and the gang wonders if finally we have witnessed a turn of the corner and whether this is just the beginning of something wonderful.

Lots to discuss after a long layoff and we welcome Jack Anderson back to the team.

Enjoy!

<itunes:summary>With arguably the most exciting player to play for the Redskins in our lifetime, and in the midst of a outstanding string of victories, the boys decided to get offnbsp;their collective ass and get in the game.

This week Skinscast returns to discuss the wonder that is unfolding with this team. From incredible talent at quarterback, running back, receiver andnbsp;outstanding scheming and play-calling from the coaches; there is plenty of praise to go around. At the same time, nbsp;early concerns for the defense havenbsp;become reality, so there is still room to improve.

Butnbsp;something is different about this squad and thenbsp;gang wonders if finally we have witnessednbsp;a turn ofnbsp;the corner andnbsp;whether this is just the beginning of something wonderful.

Lots to discuss after a long layoff and we welcome Jack Anderson back to the team.

Enjoy!</itunes:summary>

Fans of the Washington Redskins could only gaze in amazement at the performance of Robert Griffin III and the 2012 Redskins. Against New Orleans Griffin was lights out, showing poise and effectiveness well beyond his years. It was the best performance by a rookie quarterback in his debut in a long time, perhaps ever. And best of all, it ended with a win for the Redskins on the road.

This week the boys break down the win against the Saints. They marvel at the effectiveness of the offense, the playmaking of the defense, and look hard for things to criticize. Washington plays St Louis this weekend and the gang wonders what a win and a 2-0 start could mean.

And all the while they try and tell themselves it was only one game…

Enjoy!

Tomorrow we get our first glimpse of Robert Griffin III in live game conditions. For the first time in his professional career, the young quarterback will contend with defenders allowed to hit him, and coverages designed to confound him.

This week the boys discuss the goings on at training camp, breaking down the team position by position. They consider who has impressed, and how the depth chart appears to be shaking out. It’s too early to talk about cuts, but positions are up for grabs and a slow start in camp can be forgotten with strong performances in the preseason.

And of course they conjecture on what to expect from the first outing from Griffin and identify what they hope to see against Buffalo.
